NEWS and EVENTS:

The Early Service has returned.  We have resumed the pre-summer Service and Sunday School times.  The Early Service will begin at 8:00 am, Sunday School will begin at 9:15 am, and the Late Service will begin at 10:45 am.

The Church Office will be closed Monday, September 6th for Labor Day.

Oktoberfest will be held October 2nd.  We will have genuine German food, Polka and games and fun for all!  BYOB (bring your own beverage).  The party will begin at 6:00 pm and will be held at the Patterns Club House in Mableton off Floyd Road, behind Zaxby's. Come ready to have fun!!!

The Cobb and Douglas County Community Services Board has scheduled its third annual used book sale for Saturday, October 2, 2010.  The sale will be held from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon on the Marietta Square.  This is a major fundraising event for the CSB - please stop by! If you have books that you would like to donate to the sale, please contact Heather Boyer. There is an especially great need for children's books. In addition, there are several opportunities for volunteering to support this event.

CAMP is urgently asking for donations of all sizes of clothing; diapers size 3, 4, 5, 6; pull-ups; and women's sanitary products.  CAMP can always use more plastic bags.  In addition, they need more adult volunteers.  If you are able to volunteer or would like more information about how you can help, please contact Michelle Dettore at 770-819-0662 extension 19.

PRAYER MINISTRY:

You may send prayer requests to the church office through the link on this website.  Your requests will be added to the Prayer Insert in the weekly bulletin. 

Nativity tries to include all requested names in the Prayer insert.  We ask that if congregational prayers are no longer needed for a person, that the church office be notified so that their name may be removed.

To Join our Email Prayer List, send your name and email address to Tom Sukalac at trsukala "at" bellsouth.net.  Please also email Tom with any prayer concerns you would like to share.

Please place the name of any service person you would like remembered in prayer in the envelope outside the church office.  Please indicate branch of service, duty station and rank as well as relationship, if any, to you.  A list will be compiled and kept in the Silent Prayer Room in Haffly Hall as well as posted in the church, on the prayer insert, and in Haffly Hall.
